Ebony 9 Months Old
The show season starts early here in Texas...so with Ebony putting on a winter coat last year in Ohio,
we left it until January. As you can see from the piles of hair on the groud...she was FUZZY!
She is now clipped and ready for the start of show season!
On her 1st trip out in Open Halter ~
she won her Weanling Filly Halter class and she walked away as Reserve Champion Mare !
At less than 6 months of age, she beat out mature mares that had won their classes!
She is pictured here with the yearling filly "Cameo" who took Grand Champion Mare. Cameo was also bred
by Sawyer Creek Appaloosas in New York and is currently owned by Kelly Engle Thompson.

Hi Tech was bred and raised by Sawyer Creek Appaloosas and was the high selling horse in the 2005 Appaloosa World Show Select Sale
His first 2 foal crops have already proven themselves in the halter ring as weanlings and yearlings. We can't wait to see what they do in the performance ring.

This foal will be a 3/4 sibling to Ebony!
