About Us

We are small family ranch located in Central Texas about 50 miles northeast of Austin in a little community named Blue. We don't have tons of horses, just a few select broodmares, some young stock and a few riding geldings.

Our goal is to simply raise a few head of great Appaloosas each year, meet and talk with other people that love horses and have a good time playing in the show ring. Drop in our Journal and say Hello! We love to talk spots ...

Naming the Ranch

You may be wondering where the name came from (if you have met us in person, maybe you aren't). Although horses have always been part of our lives, in 2004 we decided that we wanted to go into the breeding end of things. At first we were looking for ONE weanling to get started with. As we added the FOURTH horse, the cry was heard through the household,

"We have got to be CRAZY to buy another horse!"

Well, that was it, we embraced the concept, realizing that it fit us quite well, and have since added several more horses!
